The helm of night is depthened dight
in mettle prest and toward might
fixed eyes glance thro visor of dark
informed with time and boldly spark
whose staring fires deeply engage
thro phases of passion and rage
And tours make, thro peering strife
thro battles long, spillings of life
to ghosts errant whose peals smite on
the ear and soul until the dawn.
The sight they hold they wield most bold
in such a weary world enrolled.
nightmare to daymare continues
struggle upon struggle renews;
Yet shine thro with a peircing truth
and never look without some ruth.
Thus guiding through the moments grave
the eyes their soul do brightly save
faring through darkness to the light
in seeing thus is finding might.

the diction is very unusal and I found it to be quite cool

you switch from thro to through part way through and it is bad form.

otherwise you really captured me. even when the words did not register discreetly the feelings and images created a world in my mind.
