Young man with good heart,
he lay there ready to expire
the guiding spirit spoke:
"Please forgive me Mother Earth," was repeated
over and over until The Great Mother responded

both sides of his upper torso moved simultaneously,
until they met
there was a resultant cloud of soot
-every destructive element was expelled-
the man lay there daring not to move
he had just experienced the power necessary
to create entire galaxies

he lay there, lost in awe
and once he opened his eyes,
he could, once more, breathe effortlessly

(smiles) Oh Spiros, I love this, sweet friend, this reminded me of Rainer Maria Rilke's "Archaic Torso of Apollo", in the poem she refers to the ongoing brilliance of Apollo and how if we keep our torso together we can live as happy poets with confidence! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Spiros, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

That was a good poem. Good subject, mother nature is always fasinating, no matter what its in..

  Great Job!

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.
