We need a reason to hold on
To what we have
For when we have lost it
Nothing is good enough to please us

Why are our lives worth having, you ask
Life is nothing but one long task
A task to prove that your are something
But something in nothing is nothing but something

A reason to hold on
To what we have
For when we have lost it
Nothing will ever appease us

Why would you give up
Why stop now
For when life ends
Thats all you get

A reason to hold om
To what we have
For when we have lost it
Where do we lead our lives then?

(sigh) If the world was nothing but sacrifices, the world shouldn't be turning, so knowing it does rotate there is ambition to everything and logic to it all!
