Hey curvaceous!

How many times have I chimed this same song
Every time that I see you walk by?
My throat feels a dry
my nose is a raw and my lips
are a chaparapat

Yet I sing the same tune to the beat of a song of a rap
that goes
rataratat

ratatat shboomboomboom
ratatat shboomboomboom
ratatat shboomboom
ratatat.

rataratat  shboomboomboom
rataratat  shbomboomboom
rataratat  shboomboom
ratatat

Hey curvaceous!

It ain't fun standing here in this too cold year
singing songs while you hate me like that.
Not a look not a smile even though all the while
I sing rataratat taratat

rat tat tat shboomboomboom
taratat shboomboomboom
rat tat tat shboomboom
rataratat

rat tat tat  shbomboomboom
rat tat tat  shboomboomboom
rat tat tat  shboomboom
rataratat

Hey salacious!

Is it wrong for a bum to have hopes of a wink when he thinks he could woo you like that?
So I say: "What the hey what the heck anyway?" and my teeth chatter papatapat.

rat tat tat shboomboomboom
rat tat tat shboomboomboom
rat tat tat shboomboom
ratatat

rat tat tat  shboomboomboom
rat tat tat  shboomboomboom
rat tat tat  shboomboom
rataratat

Hey Rad, you have a unique way with your poetry--  very strong with a lot of feeling.

I like this one...  really got into it--  song lyrics perhaps?

What fun! Even if you're an ol' letcherous one, at least you're singin' to a wonnerful beat! Enjoyed the read, Radrook!

Hi!

Thanks everyone for the response.
No, I didn't have a specific tune in mind--just a beat. I very often begin writing and this metronome goes off somewhere in my head I guess! LOL!

Yeah!
It is fun looking at rejection in a humorous way. Take things too seriously and we become candidates for an ulcer. So as they say--when life seems to be turning into a lemon--make lemonade. Or something along those lines.

Glad you enjoyed!
God bless!

Yay!!! Oh my gosh, I love this, sweet friend, I think you would be great at writing melodies, have you ever thought of giving songwriting a try, I bet you'd be great at that! (smiles) This is terrific, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Radrook, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Hi Mistletoe Angel!

I once played as a professinal musician back in the sixties in a rock group called the Enchanters. I also write music on my Cakewalk MIDI utility.

I have never been able to submit my songs over the net though due to certain online complexities that I have as yet not been able to unravel.

Thanks for your feedback friend!

Glad you enjoyed the poem.
God bless!
