Time To Smell a Rose

Some come here to sit and think
Some come here to wonder
But I came here andsatright down
And wonderedwhy your not down under

The things you do sometimes I wonder
So hard at work are you
You have much time to give to others
But little time for you

Thetime mite comewill slow you down
Down and down go you
Just take a little time and up you''ll come
If a little slower you'll go

Back up you'll come if time you'll take
And slow a little down
So take the time and smell a rose
And take away my frown
XOXOXOOXOXOXOXOX

Beautifull... I hope to see more of your writing...

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

J~Very insightful words here..
we could all take a lesson from them
and slow down long enough to enjoy the roses.

Oh, such wise and loving words. Funny thing is that when I read all of this wonderful poetry that everyone writes here at PiP--I feel like I'm smelling roses! tehe

Beautiful words and sentiments!

Hello Stubby

Many more people need to take your advice and 'stop and smell the roses'.

Take care......Sue

Stubby this reminds me of the old song "you gotta stop and smell the roses"
Every word you have written rings so true, if people would just take the time to enjoy life.  Well done.
