And let's not forget ol' Toerag,
When the Collecting Bug comes biting.
He's a one of a kind possession,
Dressed in his frilly nightie.

I can see him up there on a shelf
Wearing the baby doll he sports,
With his massive beer gut sticking out,
And dressed in his unwashed shorts.

He's sought after by so many here,
He's been a one of a kind all along.
But once he's bought, he's quickly traded,
For something pretty, like a Long John.

He's been through so many hands,
He's like a bad girl in high school.
Not like the precious Long John edition,
Which is priceless and very cool.

I heard he was bought by Budweiser,
But those Clydesdales wouldn't drag him.
It seems that two dogs is one too many
Sitting up there on that wagon.

So Budweiser sold poor Toe to Guiness,
Surely he would fit in over in Dublin.
But he was quickly sold again,
When they found him in a vat, bubblin'.

Yes, Toerag is truly a collectible,
He's a rare specimen, it's true.
But if he ends up on your mantle.
Do what the other collectors do:

Trade him immediately!

Please note, I haven't said a single word about LongJohn today...I've behaved, been
sweet and kind....I just want you ladies to
notice how all these bullies pick on me...even when I'm just being my usual quiet,
shy, sweet-self.....and look what a sweet thing I said about him on the Holiday Cheer forum.....but that's okay, I learned in church to just turn the other cheek and that I'd meet people like him thru life...but it's not his fault....I know....and I forgive....(and will-give unto as he hath done to me).....

Yeah, Long John... you're a meanie! LOL And you're just taunting me cause while I keep trying to catch up, he's flying all over the world (something Bal can't do without turning green and hyperventilating) sampling fine brews (something you try to do in your alley outside the bar... but whatever's left in those bottles is liberally laced with spit! LOL)

You're all priceless. *G*

AAWW, how could you pick on someone as pathetic and stupid as Toerag? Now he is just going to add another hatefull poem to the Long John/Toerag/Balladeer war collection. Oh yeah, and how much would you pay for a Balladeer collectable? I hear they are selling some at the next dufus convention, and make very handy bath plugs. And don't even let me get started on you.... I'm only sparing you because you wrote this witty little poem.

I saw a Toerag doll one time
It really was a mess
It wore a pair of Levis
Underneath a chiffon dress.

It burped and said "I love you, man"
Whenever it smelled beer
And tried to molest Barbie
Whenever the coast was clear.

YA done real good here, sailor,
Describing our friend Toe.
Stuffed idiot or croco-doll
Describes him well, yanno???

LOL all three of you are collector's items, I wouldn't mind having you guys here on a shelf.

Then, after a while, I'll put Long John in the beautiful marine/fishing museum we have overhere, Toe...well I'll put Toe in the bed next to my Mom in hospital, mayby they'll give him some rags and Balladeer....mmm
have to think of some place for him too, I'm sure I'll find something LOL

Felt good, a bit of a laugh

Whose being the instigator now, LongJohn??!! I'll tell you this, I wouldn't trade any of you for the whole wide world! It's really great to come in here and see ya'lls witty poetry wars. It always brightens my day. You are all priceless in your own ways...even if some of you DO smell better than others... Keep 'em coming..
