Lacy Dawn

darkness
found itself
pulled back
curtained
by the window
of a lacy dawn
delicately woven
from edges spun
forming a new day
newness dripped
dyeing edges
of sky colors
tangling peach
and navy blue
as moon and sun
danced in unison
braiding loops of time
altering strings of night
tying them
to the cloth of day

I’m not disappointed,  I never expected anything from you.

'newness dripped
dyeing edges
of sky colors"

How do you do this? You make it seem so easy, but I know better!
I love a tye-died sky.

Your words inspire even the dullest mind to awaken from its slumber and to ignite with a collage of vivid sights and sounds for one to enjoy all day long.

So for this Miss Helen
I Thank you

Helen, you have such a wonderful way with words that you
can turn "darkness" to beautiful, brilliant colors.
Thanks for sharing your talents, sweet friend.

It made me remeber a house I stayed in as a child. I vaugely remeber it, but I think of the lacy dawn.

How do you make suck great poems?

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.
