Southern Breeze

Gentle winds of soft embrace
Calmly touch my tanning face
And clouds drift by above my head
In gold and pink and violet red

The sea is calm and smooth in roll
It’s blue and green to please a soul
And mist leaves drops of crystal flare
Upon the armrest of my chair

My mind rides phantoms of a wile
Amidst the palms of tropic Isles
Where suds of water bath my feet
And sands massage me in a treat.

Where girls with flowers in their hair
Dance the hula to drumming flare
And I wade in, in consuetude
To dance with then in semi nude

It’s then a hand in innocent pry
Wakes me shakes me, you’re missing it Sy.

The soft drumming
did you in
and soft sleep
was capturing
the mood and groove
of soft hip's sway...
ah well, it's now
another day...

Smiling here...

Noah,
Glad to be back, missed you all. Thanks for the read and kind words.

garysgirl
Soooo glad to be back, had a good time but missed my friends.

Maureen,
Would you prefer it late at night? LOL

JM,
Isabel will never get enough travel. My traveling is mostly in an esthetic sense.
I missed you Tink and read your poem last night. Won't repeat what I said but it is an epopee. Randy and I send.

Welcome back, Mr. T!!! We have all missed our daily shot in the arm of your charm, wit and wisdom!

Your poem has enabled me to picture you basking at the oceanside, taking it all in--and sleeping it all off!--I jest! tehe
