Trapped in a inner space
Going backwards
In a forward direction
Within side glances
Of what should have been

With no reference points
To navigate back to reality
You flounder in stagnant needs
Giving up on your dreams

In the far reaches of this cesspool
A whisper is barely heard
The prayer of a loved one
Who has never given up

Searching out the many ways
Of hearing the guiding light
Fighting a fierce battle to right yourself
As the sounds become more audible

In a storming determination
You seek your inner strength
As the miracle finally reaches you
And the fog lifts

You float out to open eyes
Into a face of joyful tears
As the magnetism has joined two
In a compass of loving spirituality

Thought: Everyone in life gets lost in life at different times, as the determination of a loved one sets us on course again.

D Lester,
I think this sounds like a hurricane rather than a coma, but whatever it's title you wrote it well.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
