I want to talk to you--in truth--
regarding feeling we all have...
I want to say this is the root
of Pavlov's dog...ding dong
"You're bad!"

Feel the tightening of throat?
Just the thought it might be you?
Tell me that you did not choke--
tell me I did not see blue--
I held your hand
and felt your pulse...
quickening
a reading--false--
Tell me that
I did not see--
or feel the pound
or feel...repulsed...

Wipe the drool
that drops from lip--
take this yearn
that begs a sip
of even sickness
from your mouth--

I give--I give--
toss me the towel...

A learned response serenity?

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Personally i always prefered schrodingers cat

I slip from line to line
i see all as it was could and will be
as it never was
a million choices
every one mine to peruse

Alive or dead
i do not decide
I merely am

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of  place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears
