A battered soul,
Scrawny from hunger,
A misunderstood creature,
A lone dog accross the praire
Red as the desert's dust,
Tough as the cactis' spikes
He crys of his sadness,
Of his pain.
Coyote

an arctic hunter,
Feelings hidden beneeth a coat of thick fur
A misunderstood creature
In groups accross the snow
White as the snow's glimmer,
Grey as the rocky slate
He crys of his past
Of his pain
Wolf

A small spirit
Mirrors a fox's image
A misunderstood creatue
Lone under the sun
Orange as the heat of the earth,
Energyzed with emotion
He crys of the present
Of his pain
Dingo

The dogs of the desert unite in soul

Liz, thanks for sharing this well-written
poem. I like the style you wrote it in, too.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Liz, this is so very hauntingly beautiful, sweet friend, I love all these dogs of nature and my heart too sympathizes with their cries and the more danger than ever they have to endure! (sigh) This is so well expressed, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Liz, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
