As I'm lying here Phone propped up to my ear Listening to you crying I wish that I could I mean if I could Write you a song Maybe a lullaby to hold Your aching heart tonight We're miles apart Again And all we have are the moon and the stars Drying our tears I wish I could I mean if I could Write you a song I would tell the whole world That I love you Pray for you Cry for you Hunger for your sweet lemonade kisses I mean if I could I wish I could Write you a song So it can be broadcasted straight To your heart's frequency Because tonight As I'm lying here Phone propped up to my ear Listening to you crying I'm longing to hold you Longing to cast away your doubts Because baby I want it to be known That I'm never going to let you down And never again do you have to Face your fears alone I mean I wish I could And if I could Write you a song..
