When you're high I'm down Can we find Some middle ground On the roller coaster We are still on? I'll lend you my hand Reach and take hold of it We can both get off And walk away Are you willing to do this? I am. Please allow me To hold you, love you For you've loved me a hundred fold Look into my eyes Listen to them They are talking to you Telling you to trust them When you are up I want to be up When you are down I want to pick you up I'm stopping this ride Gathering my senses Dusting myself off While holding my head high As you have accepted my hand I will never let go of it You hold my hand, saying it keeps me close I hold yours, for I love you dearly Together they touch Knowing of the trials seen Still intact, forever strong You and I, destined.
