Though I gaze, you never see The love that flows inside of me For every aspect of your being. Self doubts rule as faith is fleeing. Why can't you ever see I'm here? Why don't you need me, want me near? Why can't you feel that way I do? Why am I so in love with you? Your lips are pillows, soft and pink. They represent my missing link. I want them close against my own; Without them I'm cold and alone. They look so warm I can't resist The thoughts that always will exist When imagined unbridled bliss Will be released with your sweet kiss. Fiery passion flames in your eyes And always tells me pretty lies. Your pools of light capture my soul; Gaze forever, ultimate goal. Show what I want and can not get, Teasing me from the day we met. Those perfect eyes will always taunt. As I love them, they seem to haunt. Running my fingers through your hair; Temptations I almost cannot bear. You come in chilled by the harsh cold, Your cheeks rosy and skin like gold. Please know I'm here to make you warm. I'd hold you tight throughout the storm Or touch your cheek with tender lips Whenever the harsh winter nips. I want music playing as we dance, As we are bound within a trance, And see the stars within your eyes, No more masks, no more disguise, No air between us any more, Walking through a brand new door, Whispering secrets in your ear, Everlasting love and dying fear. I want darkness to swirl around, Our breaths and hearts the only sound. Love to entwine us, binding close, Me with the one I love the most. Our lips on fire, pressed so tight; Nothing is wrong, it's all so right, Your gentle fingers touch my face. Our heat rises as our hearts race. Yet as this wish grows in my head, I sit solemnly in my bed, Wishing it was really true; You're for me and I'm for you. Beyond me why you can't realize Our unbreakable love ties. Don't you feel the need for me? Why can't you understand or see? Those fantasies still are unborn. With every glance more dreams are torn. Don't name my love a senseless crush. Don't tell me that I shouldn't rush Into bursting strong emotions Or I should forget my notions. Things not always what they seem, But you can't shatter a sweet dream. And so out goes this heartfelt ode For hearts dragging along that road, Dragging a load of awesome weight, Needing that kiss or that first date, Living for that special one With every dawning of the sun, And as it shines from up above Carry the weight of unseen love. |

Sunshine..is that "long" poetry...or longing poetry? Oh yeah, a moth loves both  My oh my this is quite the poetic outpouring of emotion and imagery..wrapped in romantic rhymes divine..
