“BY THE STARS”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
I sat behind the moon
waiting for love words
from you, then they
came, first one then
another, soft, gentle…
As I read them I
understood you, and
I felt your thoughts
until I had known
every one, and
sensing the desires
of you brought them
inside me, all while
sitting behind the moon
waiting for them to
be delivered by the
stars…
This poem is incredibly intimate--on a soul level. So alluringly lovely...
Bill
If you can sit behind the moon and listen with your heart...then you are pretty special...but, I already knew that.
Not only do stars bring you words of love, they help you understand yourself. Take it from me.
Bill...With every poem, you just keep getting better and better.  This tugged at my heartstrings like no other. There are no words to adequately express the impact of this poem upon the emotions of this reader.
Bill,  I have been reading you very much.
And I must say quite honestly...that you
are writing with great depth and feeling.
And, she will be dancing on every
                     rainbow,
Skipping from star to star,
Scattering moondust all around,
Understanding who ~You~ are!
I enjoy your poetry so much. It is so touching and imaginative. Can't wait for the real deal, for your poems, I think, will cause these blue screens to sizzle with a bright tinge of red, steam hissing out from all the ports!
You are an excellent poet, making us all smile and feel!
Thanking you,
Warm Regards,
Pat
