Silent Wordings

I just close my eyes, break away
to that time that has left me
blinded to any other.
Unprepared then, a novice to you still.

How those moments impacted my life,
teaching me to never accept for granted
the hour glass of  time shared,
now stored within my mind.

When alone, I am able to turn it over and over,
replaying each memory that holds for me
the harmony, the breaking down of barriers built
by painful words, lessons in life never wished for.

I break away to you, always wanting,
never having enough,  selfishly
wishing eyes to find me, to search my words
that hold all truth.

Unraveling has been good for me.
Shards from a memory, a beginning
now ending, have left me more focused.
The crossing of hearts reflecting the reality
of my dreams, finally fading
from the language of a once love,
to be eclipsed by another,
diminishing a hold that once dominated
the tears that fell.

I am rambling, silent wordings
wishing to erupt...
to show  that I am rising above,
allowing the shaded part of me to
deliver a freshness of feelings,
putting away the rose coloured glasses,
to live each morning to come
always...on the wings of time.

There are so many lessons in life we never wished for. But, these lessons are the ones we learn from. I can relate to this alot.

Maureen, even what I saw
"between the lines" (I think),
are beautiful in this one. It sounds
to me like things are looking up for you.
Thanks, again, for sharing your
heart.

This is one of your best!

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Sue,
I know what you say is true...we just have to keep repeating it to ourselves

Marge, well I broke the  dessert plate that held the memory of my wedding cake..had it for 32 years and then this week past, it fell out of the cabinet breaking into many  pieces... the beginning of an end... *s

This Diamond, Dea thank You

Ethel, you have it right..my thoughts, the true ones  are somewhere "Between the Lines" And although many feel the sadness  in my not seeming to want to let go..there IS a happiness  waiting for me, that I write about between the lines.
Thank you for  noticing that.
hugs
M

Michael I am glad you stopped by and enjoyed my words

Noah, you are very insightful
Thank you for always being here.
hugs
