Last night I held you tight
in my arms, cool breezes of
autumn entered the room and
brushed my face gently with
its chill, yet I felt only
the warmth of you…

Fingers traced with caring
memories, lingering where
they would, not to stay but
to enchant with the delicacy
of endless thoughts…

But I only lie here in reflection,
mesmerized by your passions
not yet known, until I awake
and you lie by my side to
taste a dream...

Bill, if you keep writing poetry as well as this particular poem, you will have a line of us from here to the moon, each famished, just waiting;
even, if only, for one little nibble of "To Taste ~THAT~ Dream"!

(sigh) Oh Bill, this is soooooooo romantic, sweet friend, I know this feeling ever so much where I lay in my bed and paint the vision of my Joanna lying beside me staring into her gorgeous green eyes! (smiles) I wish this happiness for you forever and ever, sweet friend, this is breathtaking, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
