Almost There

I'm almost there, I feel it more
the calm that whispers, waiting for.

I leave for you a note each day,
a tiny snack to fill your stay.

I'm almost there, inside I know
it won't be long, reflections show.

There's room within, this windows time,
wasted not, the want in rhyme.

I'm almost there, in need of you,
prepared for change, a dance of new.

Embossed, the feel, the rainbows end
in random thoughts, to you, I send.

Each day I'm yours, in words on blue...
I'm almost there, in want of you.

Maureen, these words are almost haunting. This would make a wonderful song...I can almost hear it..
