No Dancing Boys
Especially for Pilgrimage

No dancing boys my dear you jest
I put them in the boot with all the rest
I remember one most particularly
He had a dimple on his ummm knee

Those wretched girls lost them en route
And I hear they didn’t give a hoot
I heard that someone found little John
He was dancing to an old Supremes song

As for big Pete well I heard tell
That he was caught in a sleazy motel
But there’s no way he was doing that
Why would he ask for a big cat?

There were six I sent the whole set
There was Phil now he was a pet
He had an unusual birthmark just there
He had a brother, mmm a matching pair

A feisty troupe I sent you Nan my friend
Willing to dance right to the end
James was as supple as he could be
‘Tis a shame you lost him to Keth and Krissy

Marsha

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Okay! That explains a lot. Like them getting to the airport to pick me up 45 minutes late. I really wondered about that. Now I know. Shame on Kethry! I don't believe Krissy had a hand in it at all.

Krissy and Keth... picked up all the boys
brought them home and used them for toys
they hid them from Marsha, hid them from Nan
kept them for themselves... oh what a plan

A cute poem, Marsha... with some nice insight into those friends of ours LOL
