Sweeping snows have always brought silence
A sudden blanket of still tranquility
Not so in the lake effect
Flurries change form
Large to fine
And frantic
Pure
White
Energy
                      **
                     ****
                      **
Energy
Wild
Cold
And you …
Are like the snows
Restless and unpredictable
Fleeting in and out impatiently
Never still, never tranquil, never sure
Sweeping snows to drape eternal silent flames

Kathleen, I love the way you did this.
I love snow, too, but very seldom see
any here in Florida. I'd like to see
more of it. thanks for sharing.

Love To All,
Ethel

Nothing like catching a snowflake....letting
it melt in your palm....or falling,  landing
on an eyelid....

Fun huh?

(smiles) Oh Kathleen, this is gorgeous, sweet friend, yes, the flurries are unpredictable but may they only suprise you with twinkets of lifes kisses and tokens that will comfort you the long journey there! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Yes this is very beautiful and artful in your presentation! Excellent! I had snow for 25 years where I lived in California, but now I must go to the Big Island of Hawaii if I want the snow. It is awesome!!!
Thanks for sharing

Aren't you glad you moved to Michigan, Kathy
Now you can have all the snow you want...
and you do write about it so eloquently that I can tell that you love it...
This poem is superb... I especially love the form you used
