and now, upon a cloth of blue
an altar is array...
I took the card
of mage, and dealt
the card of fool away--

My own sarcasm interfered.

I took high priestess for myself
for that is what the fools call me--
I took the lovers--placed beneath
and prayed someday they be released;

inspite of all my fears.

The hermit always was my guide
shining lantern on the hill...
I dreamed of lighthouse, once,
but now...I see that certainly--
that's me.

reluctant beacon, beckoning....

My ginger blossomed--
amazed am I--
it bloomed
she boasted
through monsoon...
Lilies red
I cut for dead
because I think
that they'll bloom too.

Salt within a clay dish kept.
residual of tears we've wept.
candles spill vanilla squall
that show the shadow of me--tall--

burn these pieces I don't need..
corn is but a bull's concede...
a pestle in a mortar--pressed--
maize--amazed--I cannot rest.

To think that I was granted such...
miracle of god/dess touch--
I open heart and open arms
and know that all illusions be...
I weave the clover
chanting charm
and pray there is a prayer

...for me.

Tarot is good deep imagery
Flowing verse
well written
good words
what more can i say
Liked it lots

The very deep did rot: O Christ!
That ever this should be!
Yea, slimy things did crawl with legs
Upon the slimy sea.

Wow!!! Oh my gosh, I agree with Dark Angel, you do remind me of Stevie Nicks, you aways display both the blessings and troubles in Shangri-La! (big hugggsssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, I got Sorcerer with Sheryl Crow in my head reading this over and over again, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

For you I read the Celtic Cross
You need not fear--not all is lost
The spread of Aces, four in all,
Your life begins anew this fall.

serenity,
You have pestled me a fine grind
And placed it in my mind.
Now I am a firefly
With amber wings of why.
Excellent write, enjoyed.
