The error of my ways I see layed out in a procession,
what I thought would be therapy's turned into an obsession,
oh yes, indeed, we're all agreed, one must accept the facts,
each seperate personality's a whole new ball of wax.

There's one who'd challenge Balladeer, that mightiest of foes,
who picks his battles carefully, as well he does his nose,
in his defense, poetically, I'd say it's just regression,
in mine, I ask forgiveness for this "minor indiscretion."

My shrink's advised repeatedly, to deal with my aggression,
which now is so deep seated it's immune to all suggestion,
admonished of the consequence, one part of me still brags,
"C'mon now, let's be honest, what's the deal with Lgn Jhn Ag?"

It seems as if his ship has sailed and left his mind in port,
my self-restraint, again has failed, but hey, it's all in sport,
though there are those who'd take offense at such a grave transgression,
ol' Lgn Jhn, being he's so dense, scoffs "minor indiscretion."

A glutton for such punishment, I've done the computations,
I'm safe here in Bewilderment by any calculation,
no one will mess with lunatics, it's simple don't you know,
that's why another part of me will even challenge Toe.

It seems as though, as poets go, ol' Toe's a poor excuse,
he tries hard not to let it show, most times it's just no use,
the substance of his poetry gives rise to indigestion,
how can I say this otherwise, to gag? That is the question!

Well, there you have it, I've named three that need no explanation,
the poet known as Larry C might join this conflagration,
or quite a few before I'm through, this could be quite a session,
that all depends upon one's view of "minor indiscretion!"

LOL, this one priceless!
Hope all the lunatics respond.
Oops, since I responded, does that make me one too? Oh well, I am in good company.

loner,
Thank you much for your comment , m'lady.
Whilst there are few dragons to slay these days, one must always be on the lookout for worthy opponents of a more domestic nature.
Speaking of domes, did I notice somewhat of
gleam coming from the pates of the a-forementioned individuals? Perhaps just a trick of the light, or a bit of an over-active imagination on my part. Might be that I mistook them for spoiling lads of valor,
when in all actuality, their days have faded
as the sun in evening sky.

Midnitesun,
So glad you dropped by, thank you. Here we have somewhat of a conundrum unfolding. Being that I don't reply to very many others' works, quite a bit of what I post quickly fades into obscurity, ( this is as it should be) yet, every once in a while, someone will pick up on a particular piece, being that there are so many kind people here ) and that is just enough encouragement to keep me going (sometimes to the consternation of those who would rather I'd not). Bless you (just in case you sneeze).

nakd,
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed. I was hoping for some type of response from at least one of these guys, but it's early in the game yet, that is, if they chose to play.

Noah,
Thank you my friend, to say that your replies are unique would be an understatement. You are always kind, gracious, and understanding, attributes to which we should all aspire, yet I see in you the ability to embrace some of the darker elements also, a snide remark, a turn of the screw, a pointed barb, all that is true, for we are of the race of man, and therefore fit the master plan.

Hi Doc...
This is adorable and well written
I am sure that you will hear from all of them...
Somehow I can't picture any of them letting this one slide by... and I would bet that their replies will be very lively and entertaining too!

Dr. Moooooooose,
you've called our friends lunatics,
that means a few screws are loose
Sometimes I'm bad at making rhymes
AHHH...I found a word....it's  Dr. Moose

Sorry, but it sounds as though you fit
right in amongst the other guys
I don't know why I joined in here, only wanted
to make some sweet replies

Dr. Moose, I think you may be right. Larry C might just join in on this one. As well as Balladeer, LngJnAg, and Toe. I enjoy reading all that they write. I just hope they aren't really fighting.

Doc,
a minor indescretion may become a major trauma with all those loose screws rattling around. Good luck in staying out of the line of fire!

Doc,
I've read your thoughts you mention here,
And find this irrepressable urge to cheer.
You've always been a man of some distinction,
So I must seriously consider your suggestion.
I'll ponder over what you have to say,
And I'll have a come back later in the day!

Fun write Doc!

Madame Chipmunk,
Thanks, only time will tell how this will play out, if at all.
Doc
garysgirl,
Au contraire, it was myself I was referring to as a lunatic, I'm not quite sure the others qualify. Thank you.
Doc
Smartchick,
Thanks. Nah, those guys don't fight, they just go through the motions.
Doc
Kethry,
Thank you my friend, but, if I wanted to stay out of the line of fire, I wouldn't have penned the first volley.
Doc
Larry C,
Thank you. I've enjoyed your irrepressible
sense of humor, your spirit, and your willingness to tackle even the largest of opponents. Your efforts have been valient to say the least. Kudos to you my friend for this is no mean undertaking, in fact, there is nothing "mean" about it at all, as you stated, it's all about fun and the chance to play. Win, lose, or draw, there are no losers.
Thanks again.
Doc
