It isn't fun to sit quietly by,
While tears are pouring from my eyes,
Thinking of my friends in the fray....
(Somehow seems to make my day.)

Balladeer, with his sly style,
As usual makes the ladies smile.
And Suthern, too, I might add,
Seems to be somehow glad.

Poor ol' Toe, with face so long,
Has been rebuked for his wrongs.
Regardless, though, Toe's still game...
(psst, Toe.  'Deer says you're in 1st Grade).

These two poets in their war,
Make us sad like ne'er before.
Toe with his off color wit,
'Deer with his response to it.

We want you two to stop this war,
We don't want you fighting anymore.
(psst, 'Deer. Toe says you will get yours.)
(psst, Toe. 'Deer says you write real poor).

Blessed are peacemakers, I've been told,
That's why 'Deer should make peace with Toe.
And, Toe, my friend, you should too
Make peace with 'Deer as I would do.

Now come on boys, please shake hands.
Show us that you understand.
(psst, 'Deer.  Toerag said you write real bad.)
(psst, Toe.  'Deer says he'll kick your a**.)

Please heed my call to end this feud,
We in Passions love both of you.
(psst, Toe.  'Deer says he'll run you off.)
(psst, 'Deer.  Toe says you're always soft.)

Heed this plea from old Long John,
We fear for you if you go on.
(psst, 'Deer.  Toe says you love young sheep.)
(psst, Toe.  'Deer says you're in trouble deep.)

Please stop this war, give peace a chance
‘Deer, please extend an Olive branch
(psst Toe, ‘Deer says he'll slap you silly)
(psst, ‘Deer, Toe says your writing's frilly.)

I'm sure other poets will take my side,
(psst, Toe, ‘Deer says you blush like a bride.)
We only want an end to this feud
(psst, ‘Deer, Toe says your humor's crude).

I've had my say, my pleading's done
Please let the course of this war run
Embrace each other and end this sorrow
(psst, I'll take the picture and post it tomorrow).

LOL... I think this "peacemaker" has just fired a few rounds into the dust that rarely settles! *G*

Peace activists sometimes get arrested and put into jail, LJ....
But I like your offering anyway...

Have you considered a career negotiating peace in the Middle East...it may be easier than making Toe and Balladeer sign a truce...
