A Kiss in Wait

I remember those times
when you were a kiss in wait.
When a brush of a hand
stirred the time,
making me wish to hold onto it,
not letting it become the past.

It was unclear, a losing battle,
a winning one for you
when that evening, our lips touched
and since then yours and only yours
can make time stand still for me.

Some say the eyes are the soul
I say your lips...press mine.

the thrill of the chase and then the capture...and how some lose their desire after the capture and may find themselves wondering, where did that original feeling take off to?

I am lucky though, that feeling like the first time  remains and each time...I hold onto the feeling until the next time..*s

nakdthoughts,
tis a kiss that stirs the fire
and lifts the senses ever higher
but tis a love both pure and true
in essence that will capture you

Wonderful write, you are the mistress of compacted emotion.
