Toe sat in the restaurant
Wolfing down beans and franks.
The waiters kept their distance
'Cause the odor was so rank!

A blonde that sat nearby him,
In a moment of despair,
Sneezed so hard her glass eye flew out
Which Toe caught in mid-air!!

She was so apologetic
And embarrased by it all
She paid for Toerag's dinner
And she joined him for a while.

Afterwards, they had some drinks,
Toe smiling with delight...
Then she asked him to take her home,
Come in and spend the night.

Toe was overwhelmed by this
And she could hear him blubber.
He hadn't had a REAL date
That wasn't made of rubber!!!

Next morning she fixed breakfast
Which Toe gobbled, hungrily.
The he began to ask himself,
'Why did she pick me????'

"Hey, blondie, do you do this thing
With every single guy?"
"Oh, no!", she smiled. "Of course not!
You just happened to catch my eye!!!"

This is so naughty---and cute!

Did Toe return the glass eye, or did he keep it to add to his trophy collection of false teeth, false-ies, etc.....tehe

You're in fine form today, Michael!

ROFLMAO!!! This is quite an "eye catching" poem here Balladeer! Glad to "see" Toe finally got some. I'm sure he'll appreciate this special Halloween treat. But the trick with the eye was especially neat!

’Deer dearest heart I really really enjoyed this, I have need of a smile right now, better still a laugh and this is absolutely ideal. Thank you dearest heart for gifting me with the perfect medicine for my soul. I rarely if ever let outside events affect me, but at the present time I need all the sunshine my soul can gather, this sprinkles just the right amount.

As always you do these so very very well, when you play tag with Toe I must say I thoroughly enjoy it, so please don’t stop playing it is a delight to read. Beautifully done, thank you

Sorry Ball-deer, your poem needs some editing
And I've decided to change the ending so Toe won't poke your eye out...

But balladeer
Was very sly
And Toerag's blonde was impressed
She thought old deer'
Was the best

The old flirt
stole her away
Something he'll regret
his wedding day

Because every night
She takes it out of her head
And puts it in a jar
By Ball-deer's bed

LOL just kidding!

Well 'Deer, it's been a bit and a while,
but eye see you're at it still
making the gents and girls all smile

you wrap them up fine, your wit still thrills,
don't stop now, go spread your wile!
there are surely more stories to spill!

would write feverently so,

I just want to thank you for this fine tribute. This is about as fine as I've ever read. For my father, and those that served with him and before him, I salute you. I know my father is a hero, as I guess most kids hope to think of their father this way. I know my dad is, not only during Vietnam, but has proven this many times since. It's cost him his dignity as he says, and doesn't sleep an entire night because of his valor, this I hate. Again, thanks for this wonderful write.
