When   I   was   just   a   little   girl
we   loved   Halloween
We'd   dress   all   up   in   our   costumes
the  cutest   you'd   ever   seen

Goblins  and   witches,  Supermen,   and   Angels
sometimes   a   cute   little   clown
If   around   you   would   look   you   might   even
see   a   little   Charlie   Brown

We   would   go   to   all   the   houses   in
the   neighborhood
Oh,   the   nice   treats   they   would    fix
for   us   were   so   good

Candy   apples,   popcorn    balls,   just   all
kinds   of   good    treats
Our   Mothers   would   check   out   our   bags
but   only   to   limit   our   sweets

We   all   had   a   lot   of  innocent  fun,  to  be  afraid
of  our  treats,  not   ever
That   was   a   while   back,   I'm    talking   about,   then
some    bad    folks   tried    to   be    clever

Now,    even   if   the   kids    get   to   go    trick   or
treat,    in    this    sad    day
Their    parents    have    to    check   the   treats
real    good,    some    even     use    an   x-ray

You    see,    the    cruel    bad    folks    who    thought
they    were    so   clever
Into    the    treats   put    razor   blades,   pills,
just   whatever

When    this   happens    I   just     want    to    cry,     for
it    is   so    very,    very    sad
That    even    trick    or    treat   on    Halloween    had
to    turn    out   to   be   often    bad

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Ethel, this is sooooooo very sad, sweet friend, I wish Halloween could be the same innocent spooky holiday like it used to be, now it is rather a cruel spooky holiday for some who attempt to injure poor innocent children in the treats they get, it makes me cry too! (sad sigh) My heart goes out to all the children this Halloween and hope they are safe from any of that, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I had no reason to fear

Nancy Lee, it's so sad, isn't it?
Halloween was such a fun time when we were kids, wasn't it? It can be now, too, though. Parents have to just be a lot more careful
than before.
Have a Happy  Halloween, sweet Nancy.

Love and Hugs,
Ethel
