Desperate

I sit here crying sad, angry tears.
You don’t listen or understand my pain.
I wonder why the warm, salty water falls as hard as rain?

You don’t see me in your eyes.
All you see is someone that has lost their joy and pride.

You say you love me and will do anything for me.
But where’s the love?
Now I have to find it, I am desperate.

You are suppose to love through thick and thin.
I no longer have a happy face or a grin.

As I cry inside I search for the one I knew and loved.
Where are you?
I am desperate to find you.

"I wonder why the warm, salty water falls as hard as rain?" I like this as a tear drop on my pillow forever. Thank you.

I can feel the pain you describe via your poem. Sad isn't it? when one loves so deeply and yet the one who is loved is indifferent to our devotion. That indifference is a signal that our devotion is best given someone else.

God bless!

Enjoyed!
