No music to calm the thoughts
of before
or the needs that shall follow
wanting more
Some things I need to rid
myself of
and others to gain to partake
rise above
A rambling of sorts on this reign
of a day
where the sun's shine is hidden behind
clouds to stay
And my body is tight with its worries
that fill
immobiled, I am, as I sit
reading still
the words of my past, of passions
in hold
treasured in save, rhyming records
once told
It is I being masked and an I
naked too
when untitled I am, in these words
colored blue.

I feel compelled to repeat two of your clever, and moving, stanzas...

M...."colored blue" reminds me of:

"A deep beyond all color,
beyond all sounding too,
the ocean's true alluring,
for want of better....
