He sat their in his meditative state
Wrinkles of peaceful reflections
In eyes that were at peace with the world
Having seen the far reaches of space

In another dimension he has walked
With his dynamic ancestors
Sharing the special moments
Within a dream state of spiritual travel

The medicine man shed a tear to what was lost
But the spirits reminded him of future blessings
As nature recycles her might
In endless shows of pure delight

In the purity of crystals
The heat of the glow of the inner spirit
Taught long ago from lost generations
How to do out of body travels

The winds of the inner spirit grow cold
In a bone chilling awareness
As the mists of unknowns clear
Into the warmth of mindscapes

Here there are no restrictions
As the mind floats
In peaceful contemplations
In the physic power of natures forces

Here lie some of our guardians
Guarding the jewels of paradise
No impure thoughts may enter here
Or face the full wrath of the council

As the old mans eyes opens
In the fire of his soul
They reach so deep in you
That you shake in fear
Then feel his blessing of internal peace

In a smile he has conquered you
Without one word being said
For the communication was understood
And his message now survives
In your dreams reaching out
From deep within you

Ah but that was absolutely a treat to read as my last poem of this day.  How true were  your words in the last stanza for the dream does go on through the memories and lessons taught.  I really enjoyed this poem and thank you.
