I am angry
at chaos
confetti
of reality
within
a glass booth
recklessly
taunting
me,
a comanche:

oh, just try to grab and hold
a grip of paper strip
which offers you the fealty
of the sustenance
of touch.

I am hungry
for the peace
confetti
of reality
lying there
awaiting
sweep--

the war cry
screams:

"comancheeeeee!"

This is so cool! It rocks, it's fierce and strange and REALLY gets you in because of how creative it is. I can imagine this being a really great performance poetry piece. Hope you post more stuff.

Ever see the picture titled "Comanche"
It was one of my favorites when i was a kid.

Cool poem!
That's how we should approach life's difficulties--like a Comanche!

Hiyaaaaaaaaaah!

Enjoyed!
God bless!

(sigh) Oh Karen, I know just how you feel, sweet friend, it feels like all these intangible concepts we believe in are like waves of the ocean that rock in the wind and never can we get them to stay still for the sake of peace and silence! (big hugggsssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, so let's keep bailing out, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

There's a story behind this--it involves way too many delicacies to be told here however--

just me...both bemoaning and celebrating a bit of comanche blood that comes roaring out now and again.

with a little wink to those who KNOW...

and thanks again--(mikey, you startle me bringing these back up..egads I've been writing alot lately...)

I actually FORGET them...*shaking my head at me*

with a curtsey and to forum!

serenity~
Ironic that someone called 'serenity' should
write a poem such as this..lol.
I REALLY love this, my friend.
Loving that Comanche spirit.
