Listening to every heart

The Ship

Captain this ship’s sail
Leave it not to weight of wind
Lend night’s safe harbor
Come morn, harness sun and wind
And broaden your horizons

Hi Karilea!

Managed to get into Pip and was so glad to see your lovely tanka.  Beautiful picture, too.

I was waxing spiritual about your poem and read it as a great philosophy for the journey of the soul complete with self-responsibility and the spirit of adventure.

Sail on!

"Come morn, harness sun and wind

A motto for life, wonderfully written, Karilea.
