H A P P Y HALLOWEEN  ~* George The Cat Goes Trick or Treating *~  I have never seen anything so funny as George, my neighbour’s cat. He’s surely ready for Halloween, There can be no doubt of that. I saw him crawling through the fence But he wasn’t his usual self. He looked at me and scurried off hiding under the tool-shed shelf. I fussed over him and got him out, but wasn’t prepared for what I saw, he was covered in paint from head to toe, sporting a red and a purple paw. It wasn’t until he walked away, that I saw poor George’s rear, he was dressed as Charlie Chaplin For Halloween this year!  My neighbours do this every year, George is the talk of our block. And George, well he just walks around as people giggle, tease, and mock. He walks along our sidewalks while the kids all trick or treat, I don’t think there's anyone on Halloween George doesn’t greet. I think he loves the attention though, he walks proudly and with class. George’s costume is admired by all even if it's just "the cat’s ass!"  H A P P Y HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! Sharon, George is an absolute hoot!!! You must live in a very fun neighborhood! and I may have to drop in sometime. Oh man I am sitting here laughing myself silly as I wasn't going to post this just send it around to friends and thought oh what the heck it's Halloween. Michael, that cat of yours needs to go to Meow Watchers, and I can see it is a male by the remote control! Noah - it is scary LOL, and I bet they do this every year - last year he was the Lion out of Oz. Lyra - If I made you laugh I am delighted  Loner_23 - I am so glad you got a kick out of it - thank you. Thundermage - Ever seen his dog? LOL, it's worse! Serenity - You are supposed to be a witch and you can THAT eerie? LOL, I had pictures of you running around painting cats after you saw this. Marti - Come on by - Nan and Kit are both coming next year sometime - maybe you can all come at the same time, and we could have a sleepover (I could even invite George if you like?) Ethel - Shhhh, Toe will tell LongJhn (he kicks cats) LOL. Nancy Lee - Glad you enjoyed. PoetdeVine - Get yourself some food coloring and go for it. How's about a red, white and blue one? ROTFL this is so funny. I'm glad you psoted this publicly, and that Michael tacked on all his funny pix too. But poor George! hope it's non toxic paint or markers. This poem and pix should be sent to Saturday Night Live or Mad TV. George deserves international attention for putting up with this. Sharon, LOL at Sheba. Talk about spoiled! Kacy: I am enjoying this as much as all of you are. It would be a great thing for Jay Leno wouldn't it? LOL. And yes, this cat has those little round beds to match the couch, and my bed, and she uses them once in a while but every so often I catch her just like this, on MY pillow, in MY bed, under MY cover, when I wake up in the morning she snunk in during the night (guess I am warm but I boot her out. |

LongJhn - my son sent that picture too me of the cat painted, along with one painted like a slug I think? I had to write something about it. I laughed so hard - didn't realize there is a book and now I have to get it. YOU have a cat? Now that is hilarious, and an exotic cat at that, my goodness. I bet if you ever tried being a brute to that one you would be in the "doghouse" for sure. Wind, I had a cat like that once and she lived to be 18! Martie, glad you saw it, that cat is priceless don't you think and we had some fun with this anyway. |
