To be read with the image of a tired mom sitting accross the table blinking wearily at her son as he chatters away.

I don't like my spinach
I like my tomatoes
I don't like my carrots
I like my potatoes

I do like my cereal
I do like my lettuce
I always hope
That's what mama will get us

I don't want the soup
Give it to my brother
I don't like the taste
I do like the other

Don't pass me the salt
I don't think I need it
I like my food bland
In order to eat it

Don't give me a spoon
Cause I'll use my fork
Don't serve me the beef
Cause I prefer pork

And thank you dear God
For this delicious food
And for dearest mama
who cooks it so good

Listening to every heart

Sometimes we close our ears to the incessant chatter, and miss the very last word...

very clever, Radrook, to get us to open our ears as well as our eyes...

(smiles) Oh Radrook, this is wonderful, sweet friend, your words always shine with such depth and wonderful blessings! (sigh) May all our children be blessed with the gift of love and may we together offer our thanks to all our loved ones, sweet friend, may this message never be skipped by, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Radrook, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

THanks for the feedback!

My kids used to go through this routine at the dinner table so I figured it was worth recording for posterity.

LOL

Thanks again.
God bless!
