Another poem i wrote awhile back.

------------------------------------------------

i know you don't want me to be so sad
i know that you're in a place alot more glad
i know this is not the end
someday we will meet again as friends
the fact that we had alot of fun
i learned to take things as they come
before i had a chance to say good bye
i want you to know that i tried
i wish we had more of a bond
i didn't know what i had until you were gone
you're death cought me from surprize
then when i looked in your eyes
it made me shed my tears
because i couldn't really bare
but now i know your in a better place
i'll put you in my heart
i'll put on a happy face
your still my friend
a friend in my mind
i under stand that it was your time

Owl, thank you for sharing this very delicate, yet universal topic. It shows a grieving process, one which is usually different for each one of us, and, yet so much more. Acceptance being a final good-bye, yet, with ever the sense they are still with us, in spirit. I really appreciate you posting this poem. It touches me greatly.

Warmly,
Pat

Someone told me once that a person's death is hardest on those he/she leaves behind. Yes, I believe that to be true, as it is difficult to accept the loss.  This is a truly insightful and poignant piece of work on a really difficult subject. I applaud you.......very well written.

Pen how you truly feel...
it is a safety-valve for the soul!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Enos, I know this feeling ever so well and it is so hard to accept the loss and as much as I never want to leave someone behind, I also know that person will always be a friend and that makes me feel better and a little alleviated! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Enos, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
