To my little boy who never got the chance to watch the dolphins dance, never got the chance to open his beautiful eyes and see a sunset, I will always love and miss you. Though I only got to hold you for a short time, that will remain the best time in my life. As I see you in your home of marble dolphins, I wish I could hold you close to me again, to kiss your beautiful face, to hold your tiny hand, to touch your soft skin, brush your black hair.... For now, I will be content knowing you are in a better place and I will dream of the day I can hold you in my arms again. Until that day comes, know that Mommy loves you and will never forget you. Know you meant the world to me and I would have died for you if given the chance. I love you Mordecai Jaymse, until we meet again....Mommy

Oh sweet lady!! I'm literally crying my eyes out here!! I'm sure your son knows you love him. I'll bet he's an angel and he sits on your shoulder and watches over you always. Thank you so much for sharing this poignant tribute to Mordecai. And WELCOME to Passions!

This is such a sweet, heartfelt tribute to your little son, Mordecai, from his loving Mom. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
WELCOME  TO  PASSIONS  IN  POETRY, sweet friend. I can tell that you will like it here, just as I have this short time I've been here. This  FAMILY  OF  FRIENDS  here at PIP, is really something. They just put their arms around you and give you their prayers, love, compassion, understanding, heart, and just everything..... You can feel it across the miles.
I look forward to seeing more of your work here. Thanks.

Love to All,
Ethel...garysgirl

I send you lots of healing hugs and also some welcoming hugs, Mordecai's Mom...
This poem just sent the tears running down my cheeks...
I too, have lost a son... although mine was an adult when he died... he was still my baby.
No mother should ever have to lose a child...
Its just not the natural order of things.
~ welcoming and healing hugs

Welcome to Passions.
And Mordecai was a lucky soul, if only for a moment, as he was dearly loved.

Peace to you, and once again, welcome.

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE

MM,
The pain of losing your child is virtually unbearable. And then you find the love and support of others. Some are people you don't even know. But all in some way contributes courage and strength to your broken heart. These blue pages have that potential.

I am so saddened by your loss. I can't imagine. Please write more for us about your child and your loss. It brings such value to our lives to hear your grief and wisdom. May God grant you courage and peace during this impossible moment.

I hope my signature helps:

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

To all of you who have opened your heart to me, Thank you. My son was born stillborn after his father pushed me around and the past two months have been very hard. I was introduced to this site by a dear friend, never thought I'd have the courage to post. Your replies are so sweet and they make me glad that I have become a passions member. My friend was right, writing does help the pain go away. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms..... Mordecai's Mom

Welcome to Passions, MM. (((HUGS))) Writing, I've found, is the best release for feelings, especially feelings of grief. I don't even want to imagine the pain of losing a child, as many here have. Keep writing.
