* * * *

I could try to pen a love song
With words straight from my heart
I'd tell the world about you
And of the love you did impart

I could try to paint a picture
But such a talent I don't possess
How I worship the ground you walk on
I love you, I must confess

I would climb the highest mountain
Just to be right by your side
You are my lover and my soulmate
Someone with whom I can confide

I'll dive into the deepest ocean
And sail the seas of sapphire blue
I would search the far horizons
In my quest to be with you

You are the left hand to my right
The jewel in my crown
Every color in my rainbow
Such a special love I've found

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Hi Sue, this picture is beyond stunning and you don't need to 'try.' You have penned a beautiful love song.

How are you? I haven't seen you for awhile.

Hugs, Marti

Sue, this would make one of the most beautiful love songs I have ever heard. This is exactly how I feel about my Gary, as I'm sure many, many people do for their Love.
Thanks so much for sharing this with us.

Love To All,
Ethel

Very nice SueT....I once knew another poet
that enjoyed using the same graphic artist's
pictures....Equally as beautiful and such
a complement to the words..
