somebody's dungeon

Underneath beaded shade
the flicker of light, shadow play.
As beads reflect, and deflect
the flame of burning wick.

Illusion or a trick,
as petals upon wall, open
and bloom with twirl of fire,
in breeze from overhead.

The dance of shadow flower
in classical of step,
displayed in this array
with only color gray,
the candle's soft ballet.

I love to watch candlelight flickering, dancing on the wall. It is ironic, isn't it, that a solo shadow of grey dances from from all that vibrant colorful light.

You made me a believer, I think candlelight is really a mini bonfire because there is so much to see. Thank you.

I just adore candles and have one flickering on the wall right now. They do such wonderful dances and enhance the imagination. And they are oh, so conducive to romance.
