How many times?
How many ways?
Without stating the obvious
Can I tell you
So your heart understands
Words
Can’t begin to explain
Emotion
Ache
Need
Desire
Lifetimes of feelings
That I am not even sure
I fully comprehend
The depths are too deep
To measure…..
Could it really be so all encompassing?
So simply stated?
With a breathless whisper of
“I love you”
Perhaps…….

(sigh) Oh Susan, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I believe love is one cliche that is always acceptable as just to say how much you love someone always is the most beautiful way! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

sometimes, you have to do it. . . it's the only way. . .

great work. . . good to see you back. . .

Sometimes the words aren't necessary, but still they're very wonderful to hear.  You're a true romantic, Susan.     (((hugs)))

the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Well, it isn't a cinquain, but it's still lovely.

I like breathless whispers of I love you. I just don't hear them ever. Thank you.

Ahhhh, there is nothing more romantic than to hear the whisper of 'I Love You.'

This was a wonderful piece.

susan~

this is so beautiful sweetie...so romantic.
the feelings that sometimes go with love
seem so much more than the three little
words "i love you" but those three words
say and mean everything at the same time!
just beautiful.
you made me smile. thank you for that!

I've heard it said once that the poems that inspire us the most are the ones that speak directly to us, like you looked inside my soul and wrote what my muse wouldn't allow...

This was beautiful....

They are three simple words...by themselves they lack impact...but combind them into a "breathless whisper" and they create a powerful statement.....I+love+you=Us

...believe what your heart feels...
