I really want
an incredibly romantic evening sitting upon a beach
watching the sun slowly lower beneath the waves out over the horizon,
the sky seemingly catching fire as the last rays dip
below the contours of the world.
Nearly silent apart from the waves gently lapping on the sand
as the tide ebbs,
and the soft breathing of the beautiful Haley
next to me
as we experience a moment
of perfect peace in a cosmos filled with chaos.

A moment where we are the only living beings in the universe,
a nanosecond when we turn and embrace in our love for one another,
a millisecond when this world stops moving,
an instant in time when we share each others thoughts,
feelings, in perfect harmony and rapport.
Knowing the other in a way no-one else can.

Time shifts, the clock ticks,
a second passes all is normal all is infinintly
greater.
In that one single solitary instance we have known more,
something larger,
a promise of what could be,
a fleeting glance at a future yet to be discovered,
explored a chance to take hold of and grasp.

You look up to me gazing at you in awe,
knowledge is gathered,
assimilated,
an undersanding passes between our eyes,
minds, souls and standing we go home,

TOGETHER.

Oh my gosh, this is such a gorgeous debut, sweet friend, I envisioned everything; the gorgeous Haley's comet passing through your hearts as you and your love touched, the tears of joy, the waves singing songs.
