I grasp a falling metaphor
wrangling the precipice--
sound waves
don't pave
path to moon--
nor do my dangling of feet
impress
the stars below
to cause
a symphony
of silent star--
empty ears
are empty jars--

I long to fill them--

with my jazz...

Listening to every heart

Somehow, the strains of "Uptown Girl" behind the reading of this just did not seem to match, so I had to turn the music off, and enjoy the jazz of you!

(sigh) Oh Karen, this is gorgeous, sweet friend, I love it! (kiss on cheek) I think you already have the jazz in you, I could almost hear a celestial cover of something Glen Miller reading this, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

i like jazz. but im too white to play jazz. sometimes i wish i wasnt white...but that doesnt mean a wigger is me. i just wish i was more funky.

anyway...about this poem you have given us. its.....um....delicious. i have no idea what the hell that means. have a nice day.

Wow, there is a lot of emptiness around. I am so blessed that it is not around me now. Thank you much.

Karen, as you already know, I love the way you write poetry. You have your own special, unique way. By the way, it's very beautiful, too, sweet lady. Thanks for sharing your "jazz" with us. I love jazz.

Love, Ethel

Serenity...This is a very well-written and beautiful poem.  I love the way you dangled your words right into my heart. ***Ivy Rose

Kinda like this one, although it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. this had more of a blues feel like one of those coffee shops back in the sixties, full of smoke and feelings.

can I do a quick curtsey here of "thank you?"

hand over heart, from me to you...ALL

(which reminds me of a story...grin...but it will have to wait, until I can type properly...--it's a chore to proof-read in double vison)

I can hear the sounds of Charlie Parker in the background, long may you continue to fill your screens and hearts with your poetic jazz. basically what I am trying to say is I like this one ALOT
