This is my first poem ever. I wrote is an entry into a Remeberance Day Poetry Contest and I won first prize.

FINALLY, IT'S OVER

My thoughts were trule empty,
From all the grief and fear,
The war is Finally over,
Finally!

Although the was has ended,
So much painful memories,
Run through my now filled mind,
The War is finally over,
Finally!

Joy had filled the air,
As it all finally ended,
The war is finally over,
Finally!

Welcome to this peaceful poetry place, where we make love (ususally platonic) not war (most of the time)

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE
