Unfinished Composition

watercolors
oils and such
feathered by
the stroke of touch
brushed on
canvassed time
hues placed
that are prime
unorganized lines
in slots
people and places
connecting dots
paint that dried
in-between
chaos first
then patterns seen

I’m not disappointed,  I never expected anything from you.

Yes, and this applies to poetry or painting. (acrylics so much better than oil,(for me) much easier to fix those patterns, as needed ( big, big smile)

and I always write poetry with a big
eraser on end of pencil for very same reasons.

Love your poetry.....

Warmly,
Pat

Being a digital artist myself, I can deeply apreciate this very perceptive and well- written poem's description of the artistic process leading from chaos to order.

Very nice!
Thanks for sharing!

searching forward
looking back
what is missing
what does it lack?
You ask questions
that ask for more
and only the blind
would ever ignore
