--- Thursday Oct. 24, 2002 ---

The sun came up again today
The crimson cloud now gone away.

People out to run and jog
Maybe just to walk the dog.

Standing still to pump the gas
The walk inside need not be fast

But in the sun some now sit sad
Lost are mothers, sons and dads

The sun came up again today
The kids came out again to play.

... and they sent him home happy ... one hundred percent.

~muses quietly~

yeah...the world turns, and it isn't always a safe place is it...?

I like this - I like its simplicity..

I love the expressed feelings.

Severn & the_loner_23,
Thanks for the read ... I was just realizing how newly safe I felt and I was 200 miles to the north. How relieved and safe must they feel again.

... and they sent him home happy ... one hundred percent.

This is very touching and I think we all feel a whole lot safer.

There's so much I just don't understand.....

Thanks for the read, I just don't get how some people reason.  But I am so happy for the people who can now walk out in the sun or the snow or whatever ... and just live.

... and they sent him home happy ... one hundred percent.
