Each Day

The marrow in my bones turns churn
At echo speeds of toss and yearn
And brings the whole of me to chill
Upon the nightingale in thrill

Upon the evergreen of trees
Upon the gold of seasons leaves
Upon the breeze that teases me
Upon my sail in fantasy

It takes my eyes to heavens skies
Where aura borealis lies
And pleases me with magic snow
With ever changing patterns flow

It warms me each and every spring
That chimes the bell the seasons ring
It shows me all the butterflies
And takes me into Eden’s lie.

It shows me this in every way
Yet I’ve been blind until today.

I must protest your closing couplet... I have been reading your poetry for almost 3 years now...trust me--your eyes haven't missed a thing...

It shows me all the butterflies
And takes me into Eden's lie.

I do so love the view thru you...and all the winkies too  *L*

(smiles) Oh Seymour, I think it is typical how we all are blind at first in these circumstances we face early in life, but yet once we weather them we find that appreciation in true beauty and no more are we blind in seeing it! (big hugggsssss) This is delightful, sweet friend, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

JM,
In the night we are blind to the day
And in the day we are blind to the night.
Each 24 hrs is a new experience.
So blind is a relative thing
And I extended to spring.

Noah,
Thank you my friend for the read and kind reply.

Seymour - All I know is that your writings have "opened" my eyes to just how beautiful and amazing life really is. I had been "blinded" by happenings which really didn't matter. Thankyou. Chris

Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away.

Each day is seized with gust anew
'twould that we stop and touch the dew
before it falls into the mist
and where is lost that lissome kiss.

However blind you might have been
The time is now, there's no more then
And now the view shared from your eyes
Is one I hope you realize
Is treasured by this gal each day -
Thank you, Sy, is what I say. *S*

Sy, I have to echo Janet Marie's sentiments that your eyes have not missed one single thing.

And 'each day' I look forward to having tea with your words. You are a delight and a wonder.

Hugs and blessings upon you. Marti

Well that was an insightful poem, and here I was thinking - better send him a flashlight ) but then I realized what you were saying and I "saw" it.  Your wisdom overwhelms me sometimes, and I hope I am smart when I grow up too

Seymour darling heart as always this is exquisite, your writing simply sings to me today, you really do light up the sky with your poetic touch.

Through the veil of mist your sight
Reveals much more than day or night
Daily you show the world arrayed
In the colours here displayed
I would if I could always see
The world through your poetry
So dance my mind into the day
Dip and whirl and let me sway
Take me there to that place once more
Wrapped in your poetry Seymour
There are more colours deep within you
Which paints the world in vibrant hue

Truly wonderful writing you are both wise and clever and I love this utterly utterly utterly love it

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
