The heart of you

0 posted 2002-10-24 04:59 PM

I hold the heart of my true love inside.
Inside my heart's four walls, a safer place.
This is the place where love for her abides.

Yet, for a time, she hid her heart from mine
Until her fears with calm I did erase.
I hold the heart of my true love inside.

My heart was one in which she could confide,
A place to flee to from the tiring race.
This is the place where love for her abides.

I showed her love and life I could provide;
Provide to her a sense of calming grace.
I hold the heart of my true love inside.

Her fears are now so quickly cast aside,
No longer do the tears run down her face;
This is the place where love for her abides.

Her love for me remains my only guide.
The guide that brings me back to her embrace.
I hold the heart of my true love inside.
This is the place where love for her abides.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

MR darling heart, you know there is within your words such beauty, and you shade it so delicately and deepen the colour so skilfully. Wonderful writing darling heart, absolutely wonderful, you know I utterly utterly love this.

Hi, Love.
Its always good to know we can come home with the truth and not be kicked out.

This is lovely poem reflects the beauty of your warm heart.

I adore it.

Of that tongue’s uttering, yet I know the sound:" "Romeo and Juliet"

Thank you all my friends.  It is good to have your encouragement.  At times, it is difficult to write in these forms, but, I do try.  I am glad that you are pleased with the results.

Dear One, yes, the truth will always be welcome.  I love you.
