“CAPTIVATING CHARM”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
When we were on the mountain
top all my eyes could do was
gaze at you, as you stood there
looking at the river below winding
its way through the valley...
I could only admire your
beauty with your hair
flowing in the cool breeze,
your face radiant in the
sun, and your eyes sparkling
only as they can…
I held you close, felt your
captivating charm, and my
broken heart mended,
then melted within...
BC ~
I love the mountains, but all we have are hills where I live---but there are some magnificent hilltops! I'm an avid hiker and I seek out the highest ones with the greatest views. I raise my arms up to the sky and shout, "I'm the queen of the world!"
hehe  I love nature and some of my most memorable loving moments have been out in nature and feeling at one with it!
Sounds like you have had several wonderful and loving moments as well---on many a mountain top!
Nice to know some men’s eyes don’t wander, but if you go driving keep your eyes on the road.  Although if it were me, I wouldn’t mind if you pulled over every now and then to look or something.  Liked your poem bunches.
Bill, I have such a love of mountains and I'm always charmed by your words when you write about being on your mountain.
This is wonderful, thank you...
Hugs, Marti
