See her now gentlemen, my best girl; fit for the king's court, but tonight she shall dance for you...

Her anklets tinkle like soft
laughter as she steps to the
center of the hall...

     What luck, tonight evil
      lies upon my head!

The tabla starts the rain,
A sitar begins the lightening
And the dhol roars as thunder.
But they are lost behind
the Fluid grace of her dance.

     The old lecher Yasdani is here
     Again; his hands are so cold
     He seems dead already.

Gold rings linked by suppple
Chains to gold bangles.
Gold earings with matching
Necklaces adorn her fair form.

     Mirza Khan too, oh no!
     The marks he left took a week to
     Pass; Saheba was not pleased.

She plays coy,
Her ohrni over her face,
She is brazen!
Her bsosm thrust forth;
The luscious mounds threatening
to Bust the embroidered blouse.

     But look now, a new face.
     He is young, fresh, perhaps pure!
     I could teach him much, his
     young Bride will thank me – when
     I let him go back to her...

With each flick of her hips,
or Crook of her finger the
Nawabs lean closer, closer,
Until with each line of the
Ghazal; Wah! Wah!

     Oh how Yasdani's sons had screamed
     at Saheba. "She'll kill him!"
     "He'll have a heart attack!"
     If only; I would relish his last
     Breath.

Then with one last shake
of her Hips and a final
tinkle of her anklets, the
dance is done.

     The young one is taken,
     His eyes are wide;
     A child in a sweets shop;
     He leers.

Wallets are thrown
Pulled from flowing robes;
They wear white.

     Oh, and how tall he is
     He reminds me of Javed -
     How saheba had beat him
     for earning me my name.

The youngest nawab,
a barely bearded boy speaks
to the Mistress.
His prize for the evening is
Secure.

     Yes, his eyes are still on me,
     Even as he hands his purse over.
     Well, even I deserve something
     Pure, now and then.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
