Poetic Touches In Tampa

Happiness and love
Flowed as freely as the
Sun which shone
From the cloudless sky

Linking each link
A soul in the circle
Of friends

Keth, smiling always
Smiling and warm
Loving, talented
And witty

Maureen, good tempered
Practical and
A terrific cook

Titia, tremendous fun
She has a great sense
Of humour
The quickness of her wit
Deceives the unwary

Margie, what can I say
She is magic
The flow of spirit within
Is obvious to all
Who meet her

Bill, Margie's partner
Talented and entertaining
His songs warmed us
And his elephants
Stole our hearts

Pilgrimage, oh what a delight
Her voice as soft as a whisper
Her wit sharp as a knife
Her eyes dance
With mischief
I was so pleased to see her

'Deer, what a man is he
Poet sublime, witty
Charming and has
A voice that steals the show
Truly a special man

Fran his partner
Charming, pretty and
Such a poet
She is very special

Isabel, a woman of
Conviction and energy
I wish I'd had a longer chat
With Isabel

Seymour, gentle and quiet
He is a listener,
He hears music within his soul
An artist of many talents
I really enjoyed meeting him

Lyra, the first thing you
Notice is the life
That bubbles constantly
She talks oh how she talks
Lively and animated

David, he is quieter
He tries to sink into the
Background, to support
Not to obtrude
He is a loving soul

Then there's my mum Mushy
Mum is simply that my mum
She smiles and is there
Always, whenever and wherever

Linked we are in hearts and souls
Together melded,
Meshed into
A unity of wonder
Each soul like the note in a song
Separate they are beautiful
Played together they make
A complete whole

This poetic meet, a hymn of beauty
That will play within my soul
Until the colours that shade the
Rainbow fade into grey
Or until the stars lose their sparkle

Thank you each of you
For dancing on my soul

Krissy

And while thy willing soul transpiers
at every pore with instant fires

Krissy my little babe, that is the Krissy writing I recognise, something that holds an indefinable something. I love you and would even if you weren’t my eldest daughter, when you write like this, I am so proud of you. The flow of words seem to fall straight from your heart. I love it darling I utterly utterly love it.

Love and warm stuff
as always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Wow, Krissy, you really pegged everyone well! There was such a variety of personalities there and yet we all felt very much at ease with each other. It was a special time that will not be forgotten...

as for Krissy..

Warm, funny, with a smile that lights a room and energy that has no end....

Krissy,
I'll dance on your grave, dance to the moon, dance to your tune, dance like a loon but to dance with your soul would take a rare and talented person and this I cannot do, for your words soar and fill the air with sparkling diamonds. Thank you for being there.

OhMyLittleKrissy~

YOU ... quietly in the background ...
doing without seeking recognition ...
being without knowing how you're loved ...
lovingly giving of yourself ...
knowing the all of us so well ...
kindly giving and giving and giving~

How I loved the quiet moments with you ...
the little 'knowing' glances we exchanged ...
You are a breath of fresh youth to remind us all ... that we ARE family~

Thank you, darling girl for all you brought with you ... for all the good memories you left ... for all the moments I shall remember for a lifetime~

We wub you ... UTTERLY~

Krissy, this is so sweet and touching. I am so glad that all of you nice people bonded so well. Being here in Florida, it would have been nice to have gotten to know all or you personally. But, I think the meet was on the week that I joined here. Anyway, I have gotten to know you all by the loving poems ya'll have written about the wonderful time you all had. You all are a delight. Thanks for sharing your hearts.
Love To All,
Ethel

Krissy my sweet friend for life, you've touched my heart with your beautiful description of everybody's soul.

Krissy, an open smile
that melts your heart
A laugh so fresh
and young
Wondering if she, by age,
really could belong

I must say, I never noticed a difference in our age dear, because you made us all feel yours

Krissy, I loved reading your account of the poets from the gathering in Tampa. Seems you too had a wonderful time.

Hugs, Marti

Krissy...
David and I both thank you for this lovely poem.  I think your descriptions were right on target...but what about Krissy...
You forgot about her!
So, I will do it for you... okay, here goes...
Krissy, a bright and pretty young woman... wise beyond her years.  A wonderful daughter with a hint of mischief hiding behind those bright eyes...
Thanks for sharing this with all of us,  we had such a wonderful time and I will never forget it.
It was a joy to have met you and all of the others
~ hugs from across the big pond
