standing on a shadow's lace

Riding The Dance

can you touch
an ocean wide
and know the tenderness
of it’s tide
immersed in eyes
that have the pull
that teach in drops
till you are full
it draws you in
by sweet inspiration
waves that caress
in tidal sensation
lured by the ripples
of watered romance
a captured heart
rides the dance

I’m not disappointed, I never expected anything from you.

I love the way you start off with a question, makes the reader think...this is beautiful!
