Here I am at Passions
Hitting forums, help and search,
Getting my soul back in fashion
When my ass should be in church.

Balladeer's fine ponderings,
Are a blessing to us friends
His mind with all it's wanderings,
Amuses when he pretends.

Bugs and love, LongJohn and me,
Religion, humor and more,
Balladeer's so talented
With versatility galore.

His love of poems and people
His animals back on the farm,
Never meaning disrespect
Never meaning harm.

He's always been so sweet to me,
Never a word of hate,
Balladeer will make ya think,
(Like when your period is quite late)

That's all I've got to offer,
Just passin' thru this way
On to church to count my blessings
(Will roast Balladeer another day).

The best recipe I know for deer? Is just to cook the HELL out of it.

I can't wait for the smell of roasting venison to fill the forums. LOL

I enjoyed this very much, Toe! *S* (And by the way... when I count MY blessings, you're at the top of the list! *S*)

This day you passed by so gently
Spouting words so kind from your perch
You spread your greetings of friendship
Instead of going to church

To church may you go on the morrow
To sing and to play your sweet song
You could extol the virtues of Toerag
And sing praises of Deer and Long John

You do have a side that is gentle
And others that are raunchy and fun
And sides that are gallant and playful
To many you're their number one

Wellllll, Mr. Toe.....so that's where you've been!! Off writing that sweet, sensitive, gentlemanly poem. It is very good. You are a very talented poet, dear friend, (and can even work on "sound systems", too). Seriously, it is good to see you  back. I'll be looking for those "roast", that ya'll can do so well . Bye for now.

Love To All,
Ethel

P. S. I love all your serious stuff, too, by the way. Bye

I hate to have left you in a lurch,
But then again, I saw you in church.
The sound system was a mess,
But why were you in a dress?

More fun, yippee!!!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Passing through? I didn't know you ever passed anything but gas!

Cook the hell out of deer? Roast venison? My friends!! How you wound me with your words!

Toe, for all your faults (and there's a bunch)
There is one thing about you.
Without your wit, you rogue, this place
Would not be the same without you.

So go to church and study well
Learn how to be divine
And give your soul to God, my friend,
But remember...your butt is mine!!!

Mr.Toe...  May you be truly blessed for fixing the church's sound system...
I know that God will look kindly upon you for doing this unselfish deed.  Afterall, what is a church, without a sound system?
